I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington and a Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Oregon. I am supervised by Ryan Melton, PhD, LPC. I completed my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018 at Bushnell University in Eugene OR. I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work in 2002 at University of Alaska Anchorage.
I have training in, and experience using: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Rapid Resolution Therapy. I have additional training in trauma informed treatment. I participate in ongoing training and consultation to remain current and effective. Issues I have assisted with in counseling are anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and dysfunctional patterns of thinking and behaving.
